1ST TIME ON STAGE - 3RD IN THE SERIES
January 8 - March 8

It's October 1945.  The war is over, and America's years of prosperity are just beginning.  But there's another kind of rite of passage at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where the Reverend Mervin Oglethorpe is giving his last service.  Having been called to preach in Texas, he's already bought a 10-gallon hat, and is preparing to ride into the sunset with his wife June, (who  is now eight months pregnant).  Tomorrow morning, June's brother Dennis will take over as the congregation's pastor.  Join the Sander's Family as they send Mervin and June off in style, with hilarious and touching stories and 20 fabulous Bluegrass Gospel favorites!

The King and I

East versus West make for a dramatic, richly textured, uplifting tale of enormous fascination!  Anna, a widow from Wales, arrives at the royal palace in Bangkok, Siam, summoned by King Mongkut to serve as tutor to his many children and wives.  The king, wishing to learn and absorb western knowledge, (despite his head-strong demeanor), sometimes conflicts over how to reconcile western ways with his own.  This Tony Award Winner features Rodgers & Hammerstein's timeless favorites "I Whistle a Happy Tune", "Getting to Know You", "Shall We Dance?" and "Hello Young Lovers". This musical is a theatrical classic!

Thoroughly Modern Millie
August 27 - October 25

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" is a high-spirited musical romp that has all of New York dancing the Charleston!  It's the zany 1920's musical that took Broadway by storm!  Taking place in New York City in 1922, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" tells the story of a young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself.  It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce, and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever.  "Thoroughly Modern Millie" includes a full score of new songs and bright dance numbers.  Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men, and a dragon-lady of a villainess that audiences will love to hate, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment.  Musical theatre has found a new heroine for the ages in " Thoroughly Modern Millie"!
